Moxa's NPort wireless device server can be easily integrated into current medical monitoring systems to provide instant, wireless network, operation and data exchange. Current monitoring devices need not be replaced, because both old and new devices can connect to the NPort to exchange data. The NPort provides an instant network upgrade to each device by wirelessly sending collected data to the central network, making it instantly available to central monitoring stations, physicians, and lab databases. Data can also be wirelessly received from the central network, so a bedside terminal with an NPort wireless connection could have instant access to the patient's entire medical history.
